Flame-retardant coating finishing of polyester fabric with flame retardant STC
Flame-retardant coating finishing of polyester fabric with
Flame retardant STC
Abstract: in view of the particularity of the use of military sleeping bags, the environmentally friendly flame retardant STC was added to the polyurethane coating adhesive to finish the flame retardant coating of polyester fabric. The influence of the flame retardants STC and the soft and slippery C-1 mass fraction and the amount of glue on the properties of the fabric were measured. Using flame retardant STC40%, soft and smooth 15% and glue up 12g/m2, the flame retardancy and other performance indicators of fabrics can meet the requirements of exterior materials for flame-retardant sleeping bags.

Preface polyester is the most widely used synthetic fiber in the world, and most of the external materials for sleeping bags use polyester fabric. The limit oxygen index of polyester fiber is about 21%, and the combustion heat value is high. It is a kind of flammable fiber. The flame retardancy of polyester fabric can be achieved by preparing flame retardant fiber, impregnating flame retardant or carrying out flame retardant coating. The flame retardant coating is widely used in many fields because of its simple processing, good flame retardancy, excellent washability and other functions. Compared with traditional halogenated flame retardants, organophosphate STC has many advantages such as high temperature stability, halogen free, low smoke, no moisture absorption, good washability and good flame retardancy.
In this experiment, STC is used as flame retardant additive, and the suitable coating adhesive is applied to finish the flame retardant coating of polyester fabric, so that the fabric has good flame retardant effect and high strength, low temperature resistance, hydrostatic pressure and moisture permeability. At present, the product has carried out a large production test, and all the indicators meet the requirements of the soldier's sleeping bag material. 1 test 1.1 fabrics, reagent and instrument fabric 210T, 7.7tex * 7.7tex (70D * 70D), 0.3 polyester mesh cloth (surface density of 62g/ flame retardant reagent STC (m) high chemical), waterproof breathable coating glue FS-5800S, crosslinking agent DF-897, cross-linking agent DF-899, soft C-1, brilliant slip waterproof agent 508A (Liaoning Hengxing Fine Chemical Co.
